Bijapur attack: Amit Shah dials released CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas

Hours after his release, Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Central Reserve Police Force commander Rakeshwar Singh Manhas who was held hostage by the Naxals during Bijapur attack.

Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commando Rakeshwar Singh Manhas who was released by the Naxals on Thursday. Amit Shah dialed the CoBRA jawan soon after his medical examination following his release. After his release, Manhas was immediately taken to hospital for medical checkup. CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas, who was kidnapped by the Naxals during a deadly encounter in Bijapur district of Chattisgarh, was released by them, the CRPF said on Thursday.
