
Bihar school timings changed due to heat wave in these districts

School timings in Bihar have changed due to scorching heat in many districts of Bihar. The classes will be conducted only during morning hours.
Amidst the scorching heat in Bihar, many district administrations, including Patna, have decided that the school timings will be changed. Classes in Bihar will only be conducted during the morning hours. People in Patna and Gaya are worried due to the scorching heat. Therefore, the district administration has decided that all government and private schools will be operated from 6:30 am to 11:30 am from Monday onwards.
Other districts where it has now been decided to run morning schools include Rohtas, Samastipur, Jamui, Kaimur, Sitamarhi, Purnia, Sheikhpura, Bhojpur, and West Champaran. However, in some areas of Bihar, the weather changed on Saturday and it was cloudy in many districts, due to which the temperature was low in those districts.
Patna district administration has ordered that from Monday all private and government schools will run from 6:30 am to 11:30 am and this arrangement will continue till the commencement of summer vacations.
On Saturday, Patna recorded a maximum temperature of 34.8 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature was recorded at Dehri in Rohtas, where the mercury reached 39.8 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, on Sunday and Monday, it will be cloudy in many areas of the state and there is a possibility of light rain.
