Two top leaders of BJP - party president Sanjay Jaiswal and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Modi - shared different opinions on liquor ban law in Bihar following several deaths in the state due to consumption of spurious liquor.

Two top leaders of BJP are at loggerheads over continuation of prohibition law in Bihar after more than three dozen deaths were reported in the state due to consumption of spurious liquor.

Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi on Sunday said that the party was in favour of the liquor prohibition law in Bihar and the Nitish Kumar-led government should take adequate steps to strictly enforce the ban in the state.
