Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 box office collection Day 2: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani's film is already a hit!

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has ended the dry spell in Bollywood. It is doing great business at the box office.

Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has become the recent love of the moviegoers. The film has received a great response from the audience, and that has reflected in the box office numbers too. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, Bhool Bhulaiyaa released in the theatres on Friday, May 20. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has minted Rs 14.11 crore on its opening day. According to early reports, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, till late Saturday night, saw a jump of more than 28 per cent and raked in around Rs 18 crore.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 got good reviews from fans and critics. The film has even broken the first day records of several other films like Akshay Kumar's Bachchhan Paandey and Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi. The early box office reports so far indicate the second day collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to be in the range of Rs 18.00 crore to Rs 19.50 crore. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a hit, and now it remains to be seen if this horror comedy becomes a super hit or a blockbuster in the long run.

Meanwhile, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#KartikAaryan is on a great footing, post #BhoolBhulaiyaa2... The actor has delivered a string of Hits without the backing of big production houses or top-ranking directors... It's the moviegoers who have made him a people's superstar and the #BO numbers endorse this fact (sic)."

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 features Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, Kiara Advani and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. The film has been co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Anjum Khetani. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released in cinemas on May 20, 2022. The storyline follows Ruhan, a fraud psychic who is brought in to deal with the return of Manjulika in the Thakur palace. However, he unintentionally aggravates problems. The first part of the film featured Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in key roles and was a huge hit. Initially set for July 31, 2020, release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was delayed owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
