Former Rajasthan cabinet minister and the key accused in the Bhanwari Devi murder case, Mahipal Maderna, passed away on Sunday morning after battling cancer for a long time.
Former Rajasthan cabinet minister and the key accused in the Bhanwari Devi murder case, Mahipal Maderna, passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 69 in Jodhpur.
Maderna, who was in prison, had been battling cancer for a long time. Recently, he was out on bail.He is survived by his wife Leela Maderna and daughter Divya Maderna. Divya is currently a Congress MLA from Osian in Rajasthan's Jodhpur.Maderna served as the Public Health Engineering Minister in the previous Ashok Gehlot government.
