Benami properties worth Rs 21 crore linked to ex-BSP MLC Haji Iqbal seized

Former BSP leader Haji Iqbal's benami property worth over Rs 21 crore was seized on Friday. The property was in the name of his servant.

At least fifty benami properties of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLC Haji Iqbal worth over Rs 21 crore have been seized.

The Saharanpur SSP said, "Fifty benami properties of Haji Iqbal - in the name of servant, Naseem, worth over Rs 21 crore has been identified for seizure under 14(1) of the Gangster Act. This will be the biggest seizure in the state so far," he said.
