Samridh Bawa will be seen next on Balika Vadhu 2 in the role of Jigar. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actor talks about playing Jigar on the show, his views on child marriages in India and his journey in the entertainment industry so far.

Balika Vadhu 2 is all set to take a leap now. The show, which starred Vansh Sayani and Shreya Patel as little Anandi and Jigar, will welcome a new set of actors. While Shivangi Joshi will be seen as a grown-up Anandi, Samridh Bawa will be playing Jigar on the show. Jigar is Anandi's husband. In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Samridh opened up about playing Jigar on the show, his views on child marriages in India and his journey in the entertainment industry so far.

Talking about why he said yes to playing Jigar on Balika Vadhu 2, Samridh Bawa said, "Balika Vadhu is a brand name, so I definitely had to be a part of it. That was the first thing that attracted me. Also, my character is very different from what I have portrayed on screen till now. So, being an actor I would love to experience something new and Jigar is what is going to make me experience it. I am looking forward to it."
