While you might have seen invitations on paper or even digital ones nowadays, but have you ever seen an invite on a broken phone? Yes, you read that right. Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga invited guests to their Fall/Winter 2022 show at the Paris Fashion Week by sending them personalized broken iPhones and the pictures of it have gone viral online.
The French fashion brand sent out smashed iPhone 6s’ with the date and time engraved on the back of the device. Described as a genuine artifact from 2022, it is non-functional and to be used for display purposes only. “This document certifies that this device is, to the best of our knowledge, not artificially manufactured but made from years of use and later, neglect,” reads the invitation further.
The brand’s 360 degrees show happened on Sunday, March 6. The pictures were posted by Twitter user Bryan Boy and have gone viral online.
