Attack box office collection Day 9: John Abraham's film earns Rs 22 crore worldwide

John Abraham-starrer Attack failed to do great business at the box office despite good reviews. On Day 9, it reportedly earned Rs 22 crore worldwide.
John Abraham-starrer Attack looked promising when it was first announced. However, the film doesn’t seem to have found its audience. Despite good reviews, Attack got affected by major releases like The Kashmir Files and RRR. On its first day, the film recorded a low opening across the country with Rs 3-3.25 crore nett. The collection further declined over this weekend. Interestingly, the team of Attack is already working on a sequel.
Attack faced stiff competition from RRR, which continues to soar at the box office. On the ninth day of its release, the film saw a decline of 10 to 15 per cent. Reportedly, the total box office collection worlwide now stands at Rs 22 crore, which is far less than the budget of the film. In India, Attack reportedly earned Rs 16.02 crore. Directed by Lakshya Raj Anand, Attack tells the story of India’s first super-soldier.
Attack is an action thriller inspired by true events. It shows John transforming into India’s first super-soldier as a chip in inserted inside him. But, as he becomes the ultimate saviour for his nation, his powers start threatening his life. Attack is produced by Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, John Abraham and Ajay Kapoor.
