Ather Energy starts deliveries of 450X in two new cities!

After a dealership at Delhi, Electric scooter manufacturer Ather energy has now expanded its presence in Tamil Nadu adding two new cities to its sales network.
Ather Energy has begun deliveries of their new 450X scooter in Coimbatore and Trichy, expanding their sales network in Tamil Nadu to now cater to a total of three cities in the state. The brand will also be offering test rides of the new scooters out of their newly established dealerships in both cities. While the brand is yet to open their experience centre, Ather Space in either city, early test rides have already begun to meet a surge of bookings. Speaking on the launch Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy said “Tamil Nadu as a market has shown us immense potential, taking our count to 3 cities in the state. Due to multiple government interventions, the awareness and acceptance of EVs have been higher in TN compared to any other state. The dealer responses were truly commendable, which was one of the main reasons to begin operations in Coimbatore and Trichy earlier than planned. Rajdurai's E-Vehicles Pvt Ltd and Vela Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. have been of great help and support in expediting the process. We will soon open our Experience Centres in these cities, meanwhile, consumers can enjoy the test-rides and pre-order the 450X". Ather Energy has already set up 5 fast-charging points, Ather Grids in Coimbatore and 2 fast-charging points, in Trichy at key hotspots. Ather Energy will install more charging points in the coming months in both the cities. The company is looking to partner with progressive hosts including cafés, restaurants, tech parks, malls, and gyms which can offer EV owners’ easy accessibility, curb range anxiety, and ease the adoption of electric vehicles. More than 120 public fast charging points by Ather Energy are up across more than 18 cities in India.
