Shailesh Lodha has apparently quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Asit Kumarr Modi has reacted to rumours of his exit.

After rumours of exiting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Shailesh Lodha is all set to host a new poetry show, Waah Bhai Waah. Shailesh played the role of Taarak Mehta in Asit Kumarr Modi's TMKOC. Now, a video of the show's producer Asit is going viral on social media.In the video, he can be seen addressing the rumours of Shailesh's exit from the show. He mentioned that some people wanted to leave the show as they didn't wish to restrict themselves to TMKOC and explore more options.

In the video, Asit Kumarr Modi reacted to the rumours about Shailesh aka Taarak Mehta's exit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

He said in Hindi, "See I have said this before also that I want to keep everyone and everything together. But there are a few people who do not want to come back, they don't have the hunger, they don't want to limit themselves to TMKOC. They don't want to understand this. I want them to think again because without them the show will not stop (sic)."

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been running successfully on the small screen for 14 years now. The show features Dilip Joshi, Mandar Chandwadkar, Sonalika Joshi, Tanuj Mahashabde, Munmun Dutta and several other actors. Raj Anadkat, who plays the role of Tapu, is rumoured to have quit the TV show.
