Due to the smoke in the air, the city administration has asked people not to open their windows or leave their homes unnecessarily. Meanwhile, the mayor's office has stressed that the air quality corresponds to norms and the smoke is a result of change in weather conditions, NEXTA said.
Kyiv has witnessed several explosions and air strikes since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24. The air quality has dropped significantly in almost all districts, NEXTA reported.
