Arrested in Param Bir Singh extortion case, 2 Mumbai police inspectors sent to judicial custody

Earlier this month, two Mumbai police inspectors were arrested in an extortion case in which the prime accused is Param Bir Singh. On Tuesday, a Mumbai court sent them both to 14-day judicial custody.
Two Mumbai police inspectors, Nandkumar Gopale and Asha Korke, were arrested in an extortion case earlier this month. On Tuesday, the Esplanade Metropolitan Magistrate court in Mumbai sent them both to 14-day judicial custody.
Both inspectors have been in police custody for the last seven days, after they were arrested in an extortion case in which the prime accused is former Mumbai police chief Param Bir Singh.
