Armed CRPF men take out flag marches in Madurai
Two companies of Central Reserve Police Force along with Madurai City Police, on Tuesday, took out flag marches in the city ahead of Assembly elections.
The armed CRPF men marched through the arterial roads of the city as a confidence-building measure among the voters.
The flag marches are conducted to display the presence of police and other armed security personnel who would provide all security ensuring free and fair election and people can come out to cast their votes without any fear.
The flag marches would be held both in the mornings and evenings every day in different parts of the city till election notification is issued.
