Belagavi prison guard Vinod Tigade found dead; officials suspect distress over unsuccessful search for a bride.

Vinod Tigade, a warder at the Central prison in Hindalga in Belagavi district of Karnataka, was found dead on March 11. His body was in a tank on the outskirts of the city. He hailed from Mutnal village.

Jail officials said that he was upset at not being able to find a bride. He had recently built a house in Belagavi.
