Filmmaker Apurva Asrani announced that he and his partner, musician Siddhant Pillai have decided to go their separate ways after 14 years of relationship. The duo was one of the first LGBTQ couples from Bollywood who came out in the open and declared their love for each other. For 13 years we pretended to be cousins so we could rent a home together. We were told 'keep curtains drawn so neighbors don't know 'what' you are'. We recently bought our own home. Now we voluntarily tell neighbors we are partners .
