Apple Watch with body temperature, blood sugar sensors? Do not expect it anytime soon
India Today
Apple may launch three smartwatches this year, but none of them is likely to bring the revolutionary new sensors that reports have been talking about for a while now.
Apple Watch Series 7 arrived last year with some notable changes, such as a bigger display and more health functions. But it was not a radical upgrade. And if you are expecting things to improve this year, you may be in for disappointment. A new report has hinted that the advanced sensors, such as those for measuring body temperature and blood sugar, may not arrive on this year’s Apple Watch. In fact, these features may be years away from implementation.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has noted in his newsletter that Apple is working on at least three new kinds of sensors for the Apple Watch. There may be a body temperature sensor, a glucose or body sugar monitoring sensor, and a blood pressure sensor. Gurman has corroborated what several previous reports have been hinting at. But his latest prediction comes bearing sad news for those awaiting this year’s Apple Watch.
