Anushka Sen to debut in Korean industry, says I have sizeable fan following in Korea

Anushka Sen is all set to make her debut in the Korean entertainment industry. The Baal Veer actress has signed a Kdrama and a film there.

Over the past few years, Korean content has taken the world by storm. Be it Squid Game or Crash Landing On You, Kdramas have a massive fan following. Indian viewers were excited to see Anupam Tripathi, an Indian actor, in Squid Game. Soon, they will get to see Anushka Sen in a Korean series and a film.

Anushka Sen has collaborated with a creative agency in South Korea to tap in Korean showbiz industry. Speaking about her Korean debut to HindustanTimes.com, the actress said, "The year 2022 looks very promising. I am so excited about me signing up with a Korean agency. I will be doing a Korean language web show and a movie. It will be a different year for me. Right now it is all about collaboration between India and Korea. There is a lot of exchange happening between India and Korea in terms of content consumption. We love their K-dramas and K-Pop and they also love our cinema and our culture."

Anushka, who was last seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi, has fans in Korea, which is why she has decided to try her hand at Korean content. "I have a sizeable fan following in Korea. It is very surprising for me, but it is a great surprise. I love my fans and I am what I am because of them. I think they like me because they connect with me. . I can’t wait for my Korean fans to see me immerse myself in their culture through my two projects. I can’t wait to tap that market," she added.
