Another Swayamwar on TV? Please spare us the horror. On Wahiyat Wednesday

Arshi Khan's swayamwar show Ayenge Tere Sajna will soon air on television. Earlier, Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Majahajan, Ratan Rajput, Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill have been part of swayamwar shows.

Last year, Shehnaaz Gill and Paras Chhabra were seen looking for prospective partners on Colors TV's Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. This year, Arshi Khan, of Bigg Boss 11 and 14, will be seen looking for a partner on the reality show Ayenge Tere Sajna. The set-up will be similar to a swayamwar show where Arshi will get to pick her partner. These days, reality shows are far from real. The other day, singer Amit Kumar got embroiled in a controversy when he revealed that the Indian Idol 12 team asked him to praise every contestant. Meanwhile, the channel and the show's host and judges tried to save the day. Similarly, everyone knew Paras Chhabra was into Mahira Sharma and Shehnaaz Gill had hots for Sidharth Shukla when they signed up for Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. Bigg Boss 13's Arti Singh would have been the perfect candidate, as the actress was often heard speaking about finding her perfect match. However, since she was not one of the most-talked-about contestants of the show, the makers didn't choose her.
