Anil Kapoor calls Jugjugg Jeeyo co-star Neetu 'brave lady', Ranbir the 'greatest actor' in India

Anil Kapoor is thrilled to share screen space with his 'friend' Neetu Kapoor in Jugjugg Jeeyo. In an interview with IndiaToday.in, he also praised her son, Ranbir Kapoor.

Neetu Kapoor is making a comeback to the big screen with Karan Johar's film Jugjugg Jeeyo. The veteran actress has been paired opposite Anil Kapoor in the film, a Raj Mehta directorial venture. Recently, during the promotions of Jugjugg Jeeyo, Anil Kapoor shared his experience of working with Neetu in the film. He also spoke about Rishi Kapoor's untimely demise and called Neetu a 'brave lady'. He also had some kind words for the Brahmastra actor, Ranbir Kapoor.

When Anil Kapoor was asked about his experience of working with Neetu Kapoor, he said, "We have known each other for so many years. She is like a family member. Obviously, it was very sad when Rishi (Kapoor) sahab left us. And when Karan (Johar) said that she was going to be a part of the film, I was very happy. What was great was that when she came on the set, we never felt the heaviness of the whole situation. It is because of the kind of person she is."

The senior actor also heaped praise on his Jugjugg Jeeyo co-star Neetu, and added, "She is a wonderful and brave lady. I am so happy that she is working. She has a very childlike and casual personality. She is from one of the most respected families, and she married one of the greatest actors in our country. Her son, Ranbir Kapoor, is also one of the biggest stars of our country."

Interestingly, Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen together in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal.

On the work front, Anil Kapoor will be next seen in Jugjugg Jeeyo with Neetu, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. The film is all set for release on June 24, 2022. Post that, the actor will be seen in Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol.
