The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday said that former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh had a role in the transfer-posting of cops, especially IPS officers.
Former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh's personal secretary Sanjeev Palande has admitted that Deshmukh had a role in the transfer-posting of cops, especially IPS officers. He made the admission during his interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). On Thursday, a special PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) court extended till July 6 ED’s custody of Anil Deshmukh’s two aides in connection with a money laundering case against the politician that relates to charges of bribery of Rs 100 crore.More Related News
