Several users have taken to social media platforms complaining that the Android 12 beta version is bricking Android smartphones a problem more commonly spotted on OnePlus and Xiaomi smartphones. Android 12 beta is available for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. It can also be downloaded on Mi 11, Mi 11X, Mi 11X Pro and Mi 11 Ultra. Each brand has posted a step-by-step guide on how their users can install the brand-new Android 12 public beta on the eligible device. Soon after Google’s announcement, several users started downloading the update but, their phones were bricked. Basically, they are now good for thing. In fact, OnePlus has also decided to temporarily remove the Android 12 beta download links, citing user feedback. OnePlus staff member on its forum said that he has, “temporarily removed the download links based on the feedback from users in this thread. I’m sharing the feedback with the software team so they can look into it in the morning at HQ.”
