Andhra Pradesh: ACB files disproportionate assets case against Sangareddy district panchayat officer

Officials have charged Dubbudu Surender Reddy, Mandal Panchayat Officer of Sangareddy district in Andhra Pradesh with a disproportionate assets case. He allegedly acquired assets through dubious, unlawful means and illicitly enriched himself.
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Officials have registered a case of Disproportionate Assets (DA) against Dubbudu Surender Reddy, Mandal Panchayat Officer of Andhra Pradesh’s Sangareddy district.
Dubbudu Surender Reddy has been accused of having assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
He had allegedly acquired these assets by indulging in unlawful practices and dubious means during his service and illicitly enriched himself.
Preliminary searches so far have revealed that Dubbudu Surender Reddy has acquired movable and immovable assets to the tune of over Rs 2.31 crore. Further verification of additional assets is underway and the case is under investigation.
Officials have requested the public to call phone number 1064 (Toll Free Number) in case of any demand of bribe or amassing of disproportionate assets by any public servant.
