Andhra CM tells officials to step up rescue, relief operations in flood-hit districts

Amid heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said his government will provide all rescue and relief help to those affected.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said his government will provide all rescue and relief help to those affected by heavy rain in the state.

Speaking in the Legislative Assembly on Friday, the chief minister said he has directed the district collectors of Nellore, Chittoor and YSR districts to be liberal and compassionate towards the needy.
