Upcoming Malayalam film "Painkili" starring Anaswara Rajan and Sajin Gopu, directed by Sreejith Babu, set for 2025 release.
We had previously reported that actors Anaswara Rajan and Sajin Gopu are teaming up for a Malayalam film written by Aavesham-maker Jithu Madhavan and directed by Sreejith Babu. On Sunday (December 1), the makers of the film announced that the film’s been titled Painkili.
The makes unveiled a special first look poster of the film to announce the title. The poster features Sajiin floating mid-air to much awe of his family members. Anaswara can be seen blowing bubbles.
Painkili also stars Chandu Salimkumar, Abu Salim, Jisma Vimal, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Riyas Khan, Aswathy B, and Ambili Ayappan among others.
With music scored by Justin Varghese, the film has cinematography by Arjun Sethu and editing by Kiran Das. Produced by Fahadh Faasil and Jithu Madhavan, Painkili is set to release in theatres on February 14, 2025.
