Ananya Panday says 'thanks' as Mira Rajput writes she's obsessed with AP. Fans point out it's AP Dhillon

Mira Rajput wrote on Instagram that she is listening to AP [Dhillon] on loop. Ananya Panday, whose initials are also AP, got trolled for her reply on Mira's post.

AP Dhillon is the new buzzword among the millennial lot. It was in December when we saw many celebs attending AP Dhillon concerts and grooving to the rapper’s beats. The latest celeb to be obsessed with the singer is Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor. In her latest Instagram post, she mentioned the same. Ananya Panday, whose initials are also AP, replied with a “thanks” but fans pointed out that it is rapper AP Dhillon that Mira is talking about.

Famously known for songs like Brown Munde, Majhail, AP Dhillon concerts, and songs are millennials’ current favourite. Mira Rajput Kapoor too is obsessed with AP. She posted a selfie of herself and wrote the words, “Now playing AP on loop #obssesed (sic).” Ananya Panday, whose initials are also AP, wrote “thanks (sic)”, followed by a red heart on the comment section. And that led to social media trolling. However, it could also be possible that Ananya recommended Mira to listen to AP Dhillon songs and wrote thanks when she finally did and loved it too. However, we don't know Ananya's actual reasoning behind her comment.

Netizens are under the impression that Ananya Panday misunderstood Mira’s "AP" reference in her post. They trolled the actress and pointed out the same. While some corrected Ananya, others felt that the actress was being sarcastic in her comment. Comments such as “@ananyapanday prob not you (sic)”, “@ananyapanday it's AP dhillon (sic)”, “@ananyapanday its not you its AP dhillon. Kaha se aate hai ye log (sic)”, “AP dhilon ki baat ho rhi h (sic)”, amid others were posted on Ananya’s comment.

For the unaware, Ananya is rumoured to be dating actor and Mira's brother-in-law, Ishaan Khatter.
