Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa’s Gehraiyaan premiered on Amazon Prime Video today, February 11. Just like us, it seems the film is on Ananya’s friend Shanaya Kapoor’s weekend plans list as well. Shanaya took to Instagram to share a photo enjoying Gehraiyaan.
Gehraiyaan braves a storm of complexities it brought upon itself and moves on to calmer waters by the end. The film has got everyone excited. Shanaya Kapoor took to Instagram to share a photo of her TV screen where Gehraiyaan was playing. She captioned it “Weekend plans”. Shanaya and Ananya are childhood friends.
Sharing a video from Gehraiyaan on Instagram, Ananya penned a note about her character, Tia. She wrote, “Tia has a heart that keeps shining in the midst of fear, chaos and darkness. This movie was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, the way Tia’s character started growing on me, how I related to her and most importantly, the lessons this character had in store for me. The wait was tough, but it’s surely going to be so worth it watch #GehraiyaanOnPrime nowwwww (sic).”
Directed by Shakun Batra, Gehraiyaan is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
