The scorching temperatures left people gasping for a bit of respite. Amul’s latest topical is on the brutal heatwave.

The heatwave conditions left people gasping for a bit of respite. For the past few days, the mercury has refused to come down, resulting in dangerously hot weather in several parts of North India. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted low temperatures for Delhi. IMD said that the heatwave is over in most parts of India including Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. It added that the temperature will not rise for the next 6-7 days. Now, Amul’s latest topical is on the brutal heatwave.

The dairy brand posted a cute doodle featuring the Amul girl who appears quite exhausted and sweaty due to the extreme temperatures. The Amul girl can be seen holding an umbrella and wiping the sweat off her face. “Itna Sun aata kyun hai bhai? Keep cool with this,” are the words inscribed on the doodle.

This is how netizens reacted:

"Heatwave is over in most parts of India including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Western disturbance is quite active. The temperature will not rise for next 6-7 days. Northwest India has a yellow alert for thunderstorms. Delhi to receive rainfall on 3 May," news agency ANI quoted Senior Scientist, IMD, RK Jenamani as saying.
