At the 94th Academy Awards on March 28 (IST) something unexpected transpired. Will Smith, who was one of the nominees at the Oscars 2022, got up on the stage and smacked comedian Chris Rock much to everyone’s shock. The reason, you ask? Well, Chris had made a tasteless joke about Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith and this really didn’t go down well with the actor. The slapgate became the highlight of the award night. Social media was abuzz with memes and people sharing their views on the shocking episode which transpired on the stage. Dairy brand Amul too has joined the list with its spoof of the slapgate.
