Amitabh Bachchan shared an update about his Covid-19 diagnosis. The veteran actor wrote that he is dissapointed after contracting Covid-19 for the second time despite taking vaccines.
After 2020, Amitabh Bachchan has again contracted Covid-19. While his house was sanitised by the BMC yesterday, August 25, the actor remains on bed rest at home. He has been updating his fans about his health and concerns related to his Covid-19 infection. In his recent blog on Tumblr, Amitabh spoke about how he is unable to shoot for his quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. He also wrote that although he had taken both vaccine doses and a booster dose, Covid-19 still became victorious.
Amitabh Bachchan, in his recent blog on Tumblr, spoke about contracting the virus for the second time. He said that he was thankful for all the prayers but Covid-19 has become victorious.
His note read, "Yes, despite all the precautions and the dosage for its prevention...the injection one and two and the booster thereafter...the care to not be in the presence of the public realm...Covid-19 did win and come out victorious! To say that I am disappointed would be an under statement...it is the concern I bring on those that are near and dear (sic)."
He further spoke about his concerns about KBC and wrote, "The sudden issues of the work front and their adjustments if at all they can be, of how to catch up with lost time, especially in the matter of the TV programme which as we are well aware, takes an immense amount of time and energy to coordinate and set up... it is the helplessness that invades the system... and the assurance that many give that all shall be well, is most courageous of them... but ever there are eternal apprehensions for their fructification (sic)."
The 79-year-old ended the note and said that he would let his fans know about his health update soon.
Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter on August 23 and wrote, "I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also...(sic)."
