Amazon Prime subscription will get costlier from December. Amazon had earlier confirmed that the prices of its subscription plans will be increased but did not share the exact timeline when the new prices will be rolled out. However, a new screenshot from Amazon has confirmed that the subscription plans would get costlier from December 13. This means the old prices will remain valid only till December 13.
Amazon had confirmed to Gadgets 360 last month that the prime membership plans would get costlier. As per the updated price list, the price of the yearly prime membership has been hiked by Rs 500. This means that the yearly plan which is priced at Rs 999, will cost Rs 1499, the quarterly membership plan which is priced at Rs 329 will be priced at Rs 459 and the monthly plan which currently costs Rs 129 in India, will be priced at Rs 179. The price change will not affect the existing customers. However, once their current plan gets over, they will have to pay the new price.
