Amazon may launch a Clubhouse-like audio app with focus on podcasts and live concerts

Amazon might be looking to expand the type of content it pushes out through its audio channels, and for this, the company is reportedly eyeing a new live audio feature that will stream live concerts and music performances to its subscribers.

Amazon might be coming up with a live audio streaming service soon. The technology major has been hinted at building its own live audio feature in secret that might take on the likes of Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces going forward. A new report hints that the company's music division is trying to build a new feature in the live audio category. For this, Amazon Music is said to be paying podcast networks, musicians as well as celebrities. Amazon is reportedly also in talks with "major record labels" for conducting live audio events through the feature with artists.
