All ‘dalals’ will be thrown out from BJP: Dilip Ghosh’s warning to turncoats

The string of desertions from the BJP has angered senior leader Dilip Ghosh, who termed the turncoats as 'dalals' and warned that those sabotaging the party from within will be thrown out.

In the run up to the 2021 assembly elections in West Bengal, several Trinamool Congress heavyweights had joined the BJP. TMC leaders like Sabyasachi Dutta, former ministers Rajib Banerjee and Suvendu Adhikari, Dinesh Trivedi and Arjun Singh had flocked to the saffron brigade.

The influx was said to be the brainchild of senior leader Mukul Roy, who jumped ship from the TMC to the BJP in 2017.
