On National Science Day, all 1053 Delhi government schools are participating in an all-India science quiz competition.
On the occasion of National Science Day 2022, all of the 1053 Delhi government schools are taking part in an all-India science quiz competition named QuizFied which is being conducted by AI Testified, a startup incubated at IIT Kanpur. Students of Classes 6 to 12 who are participating will get an opportunity to bag the title of Young Scientist of the Year.
As per the official website, “The objective is to create awareness about the contribution of our Indian scientists and also to promote the scientific temperament among students at a very young age.”
National Science Day is celebrated every year to mark the February 28, 1928, the day Nobel Prize-winning physicist CV Raman discovered the Raman Effect. The themes of the National Science Day this year is ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future’.
This is the first time that all the 1053 government schools of Delhi will be participating in this mega online competition.
The quiz will be conducted online as per the group schedule for one hour each. Students were able to register till February 28, 1 pm, on the official platform.
