Alia Bhatt looked simply beautiful in an ivory saree worth Rs 36k for Gangubai Kathiawadi promotions on Thursday.
Alia Bhatt stepped out looking like a chaand (moon) on Thursday to promote her highly-anticipated film Gangubai Kathiawadi with co-actor Ajay Devgn and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. After facing several delays, the film is now finally slated to release on February 25.
Alia, who never fails to make sartorial statements, channelled her inner Gangu for the latest event. She slipped into a pretty saree in ivory colour. Yes, reminiscent of the moon.
Take a look:
Alia embraced a silk and organza saree from the label Devnaagri. The ensemble came adorned with resham and golden Patra embroidery patterns scattered all over the expanse. A delicate cotton lace in chevron cuts further added to the rich details.
Alia styled this saree with an embellished blouse. Replete with a mix of golden and silver embellishments, the blouse definitely upped the glam quotient of the look.
Alia loves to keep her makeup and accessories minimal. She took the fuss-free route yet again and styled her look with a pair of tiered jhumkis and a ring. For the makeup, she rocked a dewy base accentuated with nude lips and a delicate stroke of kohl lining her eyes. A dainty bindi completed her look.
Simple yet classy!
