Since last year, after the government imposed a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of the novel coronavirus, Akshay Kumar has been doing his bit to help people struggling due to the pandemic. As India grapples with the second wave of Covid-19, the actor has once again stepped up to help those in need. Akshay will be providing a month’s ration to 3600 dancers who have been affected by the Covid-19 lockdown through Ganesh Acharya Foundation. Dancers who are registered with the foundation will be provided with a month’s ration. Due to a massive rise in the number of Covid cases (in the second wave) in the state of Maharashtra, lockdown was imposed last month. Ganesh Acharya told Bombay Times that on his birthday, Akshay Kumar asked him what gift he wanted. As a birthday present, he asked the actor if he could help junior choreographers and background dancers who have been affected due to the lockdown. Akshay readily agreed.More Related News
