Telecom companies have slowly started revising their plans and hiking tariffs indirectly in some cases. This means that even though the telco would offer a certain plan at the same price, its benefits would be reduced. Direct tariff hikes are of course when the telco increases the monthly cost of the plan. Now, Airtel is slated to revise some of its postpaid plans, and will subsequently alter its benefits and prices. The postpaid plans are priced under Rs 1000. The first postpaid plan is an add-on priced at Rs 249 and will see an increase in tariff as well as benefits. The second postpaid plan is priced at Rs 999 but will not see a change in price, only benefits.
