Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation lifted Covid-related curbs from 16 societies in the city and declared three new micro-containment zones on Wednesday.
According to a report published in The Times of India (TOI), curbs from as many as 10 societies in Satellite, Prahladnagar, Sarkhej and Vejalpur in the South West Zone and three societies located in Usmanpura, Paldi and Naranpura were lifted.
Meanwhile, the new micro-containment zones include six houses in Akash Tower in Bodakdev, four houses in Anant Sky in Ranip and 10 houses in Shalin Heights in Behrampura.
Earlier on Tuesday, curbs were lifted from 23 societies in the city.
“We do not need to isolate many societies now as fewer positive cases are being reported. However, people still need to be cautious and follow Covid guidelines as the third wave is not completely over,” a health department official said, as reported by TOI.
