India will focus on disengagement across Eastern Ladakh during the 11th Corps Commander-level talks with China tomorrow.
After the initial disengagement between India and China at Pangong Lake, discussion between the two sides will now focus on easing tensions at other friction points in Eastern Ladakh during the Corps Commander-level meet on Friday. Nearly a year after the India-China standoff started, tensions prevail between the two sides despite a successful disengagement at Pangong Lake earlier this year. Tanks and troops from both sides have pulled back and there is no eyeball-to-eyeball confrontation at present. However, the military build-up across Eastern Ladakh continues.
