The first case of Nipah virus has been detected in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore, according to the district collector. This comes after a 12-year-old boy died of Nipah virus in Kerala's Kozhikode on Sunday.
After Kerala, a case of Nipah virus has been detected in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore, news agency ANI reported. "One case of Nipah virus has been identified in the district. We are taking all precautions. Anyone who comes to a government hospital with a high fever will be tested properly," ANI quoted Coimbatore's District Collector GS Sameeran as saying.More Related News
