Mohammad Khan and his two daughters, eight-year-old Malala and nine-year-old Pastana, have taken up a new home in West Bengal's Howrah and are supported by neighbours apart from the Afghan community in the state.
After two weeks of travelling from Afghanistan to Kolkata, an Afghan family has now taken refuge in Howrah in West Bengal and is on their way to rebuilding their lives as they settle down into their new home. Meet Mohammad Khan and his two daughters, eight-year-old Malala and nine-year-old Pastana, who have taken up a new home and are supported by neighbours apart from the Afghan community in the state. Khan's house in Kabul has been looted, his shop, his source of income, is a faraway dream, and now he has to begin afresh in a new country that he calls home.More Related News
