The teaser of Adipurush dropped on October 2. It shows Prabhas as Lord Ram battling the 10-headed Lankesh, played by Saif Ali Khan.
Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan's Adipurush is one of the most anticipated films. The teaser of the film, starring Prabhas as Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh and Kriti Sanon as Sita, received a grand launch on October 2 on the banks of Sarayu in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya. From the looks of it, the mythological epic promises a visual spectacle. Adipurush is helmed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Om Raut. The film is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, but with a heavy use of CGI and VFX.
Prabhas's Adipurush is all set for a grand release on January 12, 2023. The film will release in the theatres in multiple languages. On October 2, the makers of the upcoming film launched the teaser in a grand way in Ayodhya. The teaser opens with Prabhas as Lord Ram in deep meditation underwater as demons from all directions come swirling in. He takes out his arrow to aim at them. This is when we get the first glimpse at Saif Ali Khan's Lankesh, praying at a mountain. We also see him showing off his 10 heads to a woman sitting at his feet. Meanwhile, Lord Ram is shown to be joined by his own army that includes Laxman and Hanuman with the vaanar sena. We also get a short glimpse at Kriti Sanon's Sita.

Adipurush is a mythological film based on the epic, Ramayana. Directed by Om Raut, the film will see Prabhas playing the role of Lord Rama and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. Made on a mammoth budget of nearly Rs 500 crore, Adipurush is all set for a grand release on January 12, 2023, ahead of Sankranti. The release date of Adipurush was postponed multiple times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Adipurush is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. The storyline of the film follows Ayodhya's king Raghava who travelled to the island of Lanka 7000 years ago. He had one aim - to rescue his wife Janaki, who has been abducted by Lankesh, the king of Lanka. Kriti Sanon will be seen playing the role of Janaki.
