Actor Leena Maria Paul, who appeared in the film ‘Madras Café’, helped her husband Sukesh Chandrasekhar launder extorted money, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar has been accused of extorting Rs 200 crore from a Delhi-based businessman’s wife while he was in jail. The investigating agency claims to have found evidence to suggest that his wife Leena Maria Paul was actively involved in diverting and routing the illegally extorted money through a Chennai-based firm.
