Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra are rising rapidly, raising concerns.
The Maharashtra Cabinet has expressed concern over the surge in Covid-19 numbers in the state. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday instructed officials to increase the speed of Covid vaccination.He also directed them to conduct a meeting of the state's Covid Task force over the next couple of days.COVID-19 CASES LIKELY TO RISEAdditional Chief Secretary of Health Department Dr Pradip Vyas during his presentation informed the Cabinet that the number of new Covid cases in the state is likely to rise in mid-January.He also said that the daily vaccination numbers in Maharashtra have dropped from 8 lakh to 5 lakh.
