Aahana Kumra trolled for dark face make-up in tribute post to Jhulan Goswami

Aahana Kumra took to Instagram to share an admiration post for cricketer Jhulan Goswami. While the ace cricketer has given the post a big thumbs up, several social media users called her tribute ‘disgusting’ and ‘disrespectful’.

Actress Aahana Kumra took to her Instagram handle recently to dedicate an admiration post to ace cricketer Jhulan Goswami. She shared pictures of herself dressed as the former cricketer of the Indian national women's team. In the photos, Aahana can be seen wearing the Indian cricket team’s jersey and donning short hair. The 38-year-old cricketer gave a big thumbs up to Aahana’s tribute post. However, it is her dark face make-up which has drawn criticism. Aahana did a photoshoot recently and she shared several photo collages on Instagram where she can be seen striking similar poses as Jhulan. Aahana Kumra shared several photos of herself dressed as Jhulan Goswami. She shared several photo collages and pictures from their meeting on Instagram. In her post, she expressed her admiration for the cricketer and wrote, “No I'm not promoting any film. This is purely a tribute to a woman I admire the most after spending time with her and learning her whole story about her journey, her hardships and her passion for the sport! @jhulangoswami fondly called jhulan di by all her team mates is loved and admired by all the members of the Indian women's cricket team!
