A Quiet Place 2 Movie Review: Director John Krasinski is unapologetic about his monster obsession

Starring real-life husband-wife pair John Krasinski (also the director) and Emily Blunt in the lead roles, A Quiet Place 2 is a worthy sequel. The horror thriller releases in Indian cinemas on October 8.
You make a sound and you die! That was the one-line premise of the 2018 sleeper hit - A Quiet Place. Starring real-life husband-wife pair John Krasinski (also the director) and Emily Blunt in the lead roles, the film managed to capture our immediate attention with its gripping narrative about a world where four-legged monsters will shred you to pieces if you make the faintest of sound.
While A Quiet Place ended on a cliffhanger with Evelyn (Emily Blunt) now heading the Abbot family after losing her husband Lee (John Krasinski) in what was a sacrifice made to save his family from certain death, the second part focuses on their kids Regan (Millicent Simmonds) and Marcus (Noah Jupe) who get to lead most of the action. There is also a fellow survivor (Cillian Murphy) who gives refuge to Evelyn and her kids. Mind you, this time around the family has a new source of sound-producing threat - an infant whose howls and cries are tough to mute.
