
76 non-teaching employees of Jamia Millia Islamia to get salary hike

Jamia Millia Islamia Vice-Chancellor Najma Akhtar has approved the financial up-gradation of 76 non-teaching employees.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Najma Akhtar approved recommendations of a Committee to grant higher grade pay to 76 non-teaching employees under Assured Career Progression (ACP) / Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme (MACPS). These cases were pending for quite a long time due to various reasons and the decision will result in financial up-gradation of these employees. Some cases were pending since 2003 under the erstwhile ACP Scheme have also been reviewed and rectified. Those who have retired and are covered under the scheme shall also be getting the benefit of the decision.
