An elderly man, fondly known as Insta Uncle marks a major online milestone after reaching 10,000 YouTube subscribers, earning praise for his relatable content and late start on social media.
A 70-year-old man who began documenting his daily life through simple mini-vlogs recently celebrated a major milestone after reaching 10,000 subscribers on YouTube, a moment he shared with his growing online community.
Vinod Kumar Sharma, popularly known online as Insta Uncle, posted the video on his Instagram account as he captured the exact moment his YouTube subscriber count crossed the 10,000 mark, a milestone that he described as meaningful for someone who only stepped into social media earlier this year.
In the now-viral clip, Sharma could be seen standing inside a modest room decorated with streamers and balloons, clearly set up for the celebration. He watched a television screen displaying his live YouTube subscriber count, which showed 9,999 subscribers as he waited for the number to tick over.
Moments later, the count flipped to 10,000, prompting an immediate reaction from Sharma. With a warm smile, he folded his hands in gratitude and looked toward the camera while confetti began to fall around him, turning the small room into a cheerful celebration space.
The video then transitioned into short snippets from his earlier vlogs, showing Sharma cooking in the kitchen, speaking directly to viewers, and sharing glimpses of his everyday life that appeared to have helped him steadily build an audience online.
In the caption accompanying the video, Sharma reflected on how far the journey has come in a short time: “My family has grown up a lot, 10,000 people started listening to an ordinary person's story on YouTube too.”

Over the past week, social media has been abuzz with rumours claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was killed in an Iranian missile strike. However, there remains no credible evidence. It coincided with his reported absence from cabinet meetings. However, Israel has released videos and images to assert that Netanyahu is alive.
