
66 lakh AP schools children get eye check-ups under YSR Kanti Velugu scheme

As many as 66,17,613 school children have got their eyes checked up, while 1,58,227 of them got spectacles under YSR Kanti Velugu in Andhara Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, launched YSR Kanti Velugu, universal eye care for citizens of the state through various phases, which has made progress with phase 2- school children screening and ‘Avva-Tata’ for senior citizens (aged above 60).
Officials said that 66,17,613 children had already been tested and 1,58,227 of them had been given spectacles, 13,58,173 citizens over the age of 60 had been tested, from which 7,60,041 were prescribed with spectacles, 4,69,481 were issued with spectacles and 1,00,223 were operated on for Cataract.

Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
