66% Covid-19 patients in Chennai below 49 years

Sixty-six per cent people affected by Covid in Chennai are blow the age of 49 years.

The Greater Chennai Corporation’s April 21 report showed that 66 per cent of Covid patients currently being treated are below the age of 49 years and 21.23 per cent are people between the age group of 30 and 39 years. Around 18.94 per cent are in the age group of 20 to 29 years. People between the age group of 40 and 49 years form 18.09 per cent of the total affected by Covid at present. Out of the total, men constitute 58.60 per cent of the cases and women 41.40 per cent.
